The webinar on “Culturally responsive evaluation – What it is and how to incorporate it into evaluation practice” was held on Tuesday, 23rd January 2024 at 11.30 am IST. This webinar was organized by APEA in partnership with the CFE and Asia Pacific Communication Hub (APC Hub). The speaker for this webinar was Kathryn Dinh, Researcher for the “Asia Pacific World Views in Evaluation” Study and Director of Lotus Evaluation. This webinar was moderated by Ana Erika Lareza, President of Philippine Evaluators for Development. The opening remarks for this webinar was given by Qudratullah Jahid, Vice President of the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association. Around 85 people participated in the webinar. The closing remarks for this webinar was given by Mosese Qasenivalu, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, United Nations Population Fund Pacific Sub Regional Office.

The webinar on “Lessons learned from Mongolian Evaluation Association’s Annual Report 2023” was held on Tuesday, 19th March 2024 at 05.30 pm IST. This webinar was organized by APEA in partnership with the CFE, APC Hub and Mongolian Evaluation Association. The speakers for this webinar was Ms. Uugantsetseg Gonchigdorj, Board Member of Mongolian Evaluation Association and Dr. Ganzorig Gonchigsumlaa, Board Member of Mongolian Evaluation Association. This webinar was moderated by Mr. Prabin Chitrakar, Chairperson of Community of Evaluators-Nepal. The opening remarks for this webinar was given by Prof. Yoko Ishida, President of APEA. Around 45 people participated in the webinar. Lian Xiaoxi, Co-Leader of EvalYouth Asia provided concluding remarks.

Asia-Pacific Evaluation Landscapes Webinar Series was launched by the National Evaluation Policies and Systems (NEPS) theme group of Asia Pacific Region Asia Pacific Evaluation Association, Center for Evaluation, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, CEval at Saarland University, and APC Hub. This series aims to explore NEPS in countries across the Asia-Pacific region. Building on efforts to increase understanding and encourage cross-learning, this series will feature insights from the book recently released “Institutionalization of Evaluation in Asia-Pacific” which offers in-depth documentation and diverse findings from 11 countries and two multilateral institutions. This is the first webinar on “National Evaluation Policies and Systems in Australia, Nepal, and Japan” of the Asia Pacific Evaluation Landscapes Webinar Series was held on Tuesday, 23 April, 2024, at 02:30 PM IST. The speaker for this webinar was Prof. Reinhard Stockmann, Professor for Sociology at Saarland University and Director of the CEval, Prf. Bradley Astbury, Associate Professor of Health Systems Evaluation at the University of Melbourne, Australia, Dr. Asela Kalugampitiya, Dr. Gana Pati Ojha, Community of Evaluation Nepal, Adjunct Professor, Agriculture and Forestry University, Nepal, Prof. Keiko Nishino, Professor, School of Policy Studies, Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan, Prof. Yoko Ishida, President, Asia Pacific Evaluation Association.
