The Center for Evaluation (CFE), University of Sri Jayewardenepura was established to increase the level of capacity for Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), particularly in the academic sector in collaboration with different organizations in the field of M&E. The CFE is a national and professional body working to compensate for academic professionalism in the field of M&E in Sri Lanka. Therefore, the CFE has actively engaged in several initiatives since its establishment
Message from the Director
It’s my great pleasure to welcome all of you to the Center for Evaluation and to our website. Center for Evaluation, University of Sri Jayewardenepura was launched in year 2017 as the first evaluation center in an academic institution in Sri Lanka and we believe it is among the few such centers in Asia. Our mission is to promote high quality and ethical professional standards in evaluation through enhanced capacity at all levels. The Center for Evaluation is instrumental in monitoring and evaluation courses offered by the university.
We promote capacity building in evaluation through competency based academic courses onmonitoring and evaluation, developing professional ethics/ standards, knowledge sharing andnetworking with national, regional and global evaluation community. We support other academic institutions to offer monitoring and evaluation courses for professional development. We welcome all the interested academic institutions and professionals to join hands with the Center for Evaluation to promote high quality academic courses on monitoring and evaluation.

Applications are invited from interested candidates for Advanced Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation offered by the Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The aim of this course is to create a career path with professional qualifications in the fields of Monitoring and Evaluation.
The course caters for individuals qualified in various study disciplines with diverse professional backgrounds.

Mode of Lecture : Physical and virtual (blended learning)
Conduct days : Fortnightly weekend classes (Saturday and Sunday)
Duration : 4 Months (120 hours)

Course Fee : Rs. 50,000

Registration Fee : Rs. 1000
Application and registration fees should be paid and the slip should be attached to the application.
The course fee can be paid on two installments, Rs. 40,000 at the registration and the balance Rs. 10,000 within one month from the date of registration.
